1. What data we collect
When you use Prism, we collect the following information: your email address and password (for authentication), your name and headline (for your public profile), resume content you upload or paste (used solely to generate case studies), the portfolio and case study content you create, and standard usage data such as page views, browser type, and device information.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to: generate and host your portfolio, authenticate your account, send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets), improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns, and communicate important updates about the service. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.
3. Third-party services
Prism uses the following third-party services to operate: Supabase for database hosting, authentication, and file storage; Anthropic (Claude) for AI-powered case study generation from your resume; and Vercel for web hosting and deployment. Each of these services has their own privacy policies. Your resume content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is not stored by Anthropic beyond the duration of the request.
4. Your rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information, export your portfolio content, and request deletion of your account and all associated data. You can update your profile information at any time through your dashboard settings.
5. Data deletion
To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data, email liz@createprism.com. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your data has been removed.
